Amtady Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Society Ltd is registered as co-operative society registered under Karnataka Co-operative Society Act 1959.
The Society has given top priority for financing Agricultural sector since inception by taking into consideration various credit needs of the farmers. It is serving farmers by providing timely & adequate finance at the ground level. The society is taking active participation in the all sponsored schemes from central and state Government
Credit and Development Activities
During the financial year 2025–26, the Society sanctioned 702 Kisan Credit Card (KCC) loans to its members. Eligible borrowers were covered under Personal Accident Insurance Schemes. A total amount of ₹12.83 Crore was disbursed under the KCC scheme during the year. Crop loan borrowers were also covered under the Crop Insurance Scheme sponsored by the Government.
The Society extended Agricultural Development Loans amounting to ₹5.36 Crore to support agricultural growth and modernization. In its efforts to diversify lending activities, the Society also financed ₹38.07 Crore to the non-farm sector, contributing significantly to rural entrepreneurship and economic development.
Technology and Customer Service
The Society remains committed to providing efficient and customer-friendly banking services. All branches have been fully computerized, enabling seamless operations and improved customer convenience. Innovative services introduced by the Society include:
- Any Branch Banking Facility
- RTGS / NEFT Fund Transfer Services
- Micro ATM Services
- AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System)
Through the Any Branch Banking facility, members can conveniently deposit or withdraw funds from any branch of the Society.
Financial Position
As on 31st March 2026, the Society achieved the following milestones:
- Total Deposits Mobilized: ₹58.14 Crore
- Total Loan Outstanding: ₹56.26 Crore
- Short-Term Agricultural Loans: ₹13.02 Crore
- Medium-Term Agricultural Loans: ₹5.36 Crore
- Non-Agricultural Loans: ₹38.07 Crore
The Society provides financial assistance for a wide range of purposes, including agricultural activities, housing, vehicle purchase, gold loans, consumer durables, and agricultural land purchase, catering to the diverse needs of its members.
Management
The management of the PACS is vested in a Board of Directors comprising 13 members, under the leadership of Smt. Mallika V. Shetty, a distinguished and veteran co-operator, serving as the President of the Society. The Board is committed to ensuring sound governance, transparency, and sustainable growth for the benefit of all members.
