The Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Animal Husbandry Loan is designed to provide timely and affordable financial assistance to farmers engaged in dairy farming activities. This scheme helps farmers meet working capital needs and improve agricultural allied activities.

Loan Purpose

  • Purchase of cattle/feed
  • Fodder and maintenance expenses
  • Veterinary expenses
  • Working capital for dairy and livestock activities
  • Maintenance of farm assets

Loan Amount

  • Up to ₹2 Lakhs for Animal Husbandry activities
  • Combined KCC limit up to ₹3 Lakhs along with crop loan facility may be available subject to eligibility and bank norms.

Interest Rate & Subsidy

  • Concessional interest rate as per Government guidelines
  • Interest Subvention benefit available for eligible borrowers
  • Additional incentive for prompt repayment may be applicable

Farmers repaying loans on time can get interest benefits under Government schemes.

Security / Collateral

  • No collateral generally required up to eligible limits as per RBI/NABARD guidelines
  • Higher limits may require security depending on loan amount and bank rules
